Hi I'm Philippa McIntosh.
Following a Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University Of Manchester, I embarked on a flight training program and never looked back.
After my CPL and IR, I returned to General Aviation to complete my Flight Instructors rating and launched Nova Aviation. I am a full time flight instructor based near London currently operating a fleet of PA28s and C152s with previous experience on the PA38, DA40 and DA42.
The Back to Basics series is aimed primarily at licence holders who may have misplaced one or two bits of knowledge since their exams or students who are looking for more information. From aerodynamics to human performance or navigational techniques, I aim to cover a bit of everything.
